RETURNS POLICY

Returns & Exchanges: Jewellery Disclaimer

At Moonchild Modifications, your health and the integrity of your jewellery are our top priorities. We accept returns on unworn, sealed jewellery for up to 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the items remain in their original, unopened packaging with proof of purchase.

Please Note: Due to strict health and hygiene regulations, any jewellery used for a piercing or installation is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

The Return Process

  • Completion: A return is officially complete once the item is back in our hands and inspected.

  • Shipping Costs: If your original order included shipping, we reserve the right to deduct the initial postage cost from your final refund.

  • Shipping for Returns: We do not refund original shipping charges or cover the cost of return shipping.

All returns must be sent via a tracked and signed service to ensure they reach us safely. Please send your items to:

Fees & Responsibilities

  • Handling Fees: All refunds and cancellations are subject to a minimum 3% handling fee. Orders placed via Clearpay are subject to a 10% fee.

  • Import & Taxes: International buyers are responsible for all tax and import duties. We cannot offer refunds for packages that are lost or returned due to unpaid customs fees or refusal of delivery.

  • Lost Packages: Moonchild Modifications does not accept responsibility for lost, missing, or undelivered packages. We highly recommend keeping your tracking information secure.

Warranty & Repairs

At Moonchild Modifications, we stand by the quality of our jewellery. While warranties are provided directly by the manufacturers, we are happy to facilitate the process for you.

  • Manufacturer Terms: Warranties are determined solely by the manufacturer. Please note that a warranty does not always guarantee a replacement; for example, most manufacturer warranties do not cover accidental breakages.

  • Assessment: Repairs are assessed on a case-by-case basis. The process can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months depending on the manufacturer's timeline.

  • Costs: Repairs resulting from misuse or "wear and tear" will incur a replacement or repair charge. Pricing is subject to change following a physical inspection of the piece.

  • Exclusions: We only facilitate repairs for jewellery purchased directly from Moonchild Modifications. If your piece was purchased elsewhere, please contact the original retailer.

How to Request a Repair

To start a repair claim, please visit us in-store or email info@moonchildmodifications.co.uk with the following:

  1. Your Full Name

  2. Proof of Purchase

  3. A clear photo of the damage

  4. A brief description of the issue

Important: Once approved, you will receive a Repair Form. This form must be included in your package. Any items sent to us without a Repair Form will be returned to the sender at their own expense. We strongly recommend shipping your piece with full insurance.

Custom Orders

  • Policy: Due to the bespoke nature of these items, all custom orders are strictly non-refundable.

  • Issues: If you experience any technical problems with your custom piece, please refer to the repair policy outlined above.

Defective or Incorrect Items

At Moonchild Modifications, we strive for perfection, but we’re only human! In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or isn't what you requested, we’ll make it right.

  • Reporting an Issue: Please email info@moonchildmodifications.co.uk within two weeks of delivery.

  • What to Include: Attach clear photographs of the item and your order details so we can assess the situation quickly.

  • The Solution: We will provide you with a prepaid return label for the defective or incorrect item. Once it’s back with us, we will ship out your replacement or the correct piece immediately.

Note: Please ensure the item is packaged securely. Customers remain responsible for the item's condition until it is officially received at the Moonchild Modifications studio.
